Advantages: Many styles many colours good range of fittings fashionable
Disadvantages: Little costly for the budget consious person but a good investment

...was bought a pair of clarks shoes for a christmas present 2 yrs ago. Wow!!! They fit like a second skin, I never had to worry about blisters or even breaking them in. They were so comfortable I could wear them all day without any problems at all. My normal shoes would have been worn out and in the bin within 2-3 months as I would suffer blisters and sores every time I wore them. Cheap designer labels, but keep the receipt

Advantages: Great shoes at attractive prices
Disadvantages: I wonder if some of the stock are slight seconds

...shopping experiences in my local Brantano store. We have a largish store opened up in Marsh Barton industrial estate in Exeter. The store past seasons designer shoes and boots for children and adults, along with shoe care accessories. The shoes are all laid out on shelves and in pairs in shoe size (this is UK shoe size) and please be aware that the do not sell half sizes. Trendy shoes for the masses

Advantages: Trendy, fun
Disadvantages: Expensive, low quality

Schuh is a national chain footwear store, and caters for the younger market with Vans and Converse for the boys and metal stilettos and rocket dog pumps for the girls. The shoes are very trendy, although not necessarily very well made. I used to shop in Schuh when I was younger, however the synthetic materials have lost their allure now I'm in my 20s, and the last few times I have passed by I have thought the styles quite dated and common. Dr Martins Shoes

Advantages: cheap, durable, comfort
Disadvantages: not enough shops sell them

Dr Martins Shoes in my opinion are the best shoes to buy. The shoes come in all sizes from kids size small 8 to big 6. And adult sizes from 7 right up to 17. You can buy all sorts of size of shoe, starting from 3 holes right up to big boots with 20 holes. They are made from good leather which makes the shoes last for a long time. I buy my Dr Martins shoes every 2 years for myself to use for work. I work in an office so i have my shoes on 5 days ...

By their own admission, the sizes they advertise on their website are not the sizes of the shoes themselves. So, when they are delivered you have to go to all the hassle of sending them back for a refund or replacement.
