Shoei XR-1000 Alloy Blk-Sil

This is a one of the most popular helmets in the market so far. It has attractive design, and quite a golden price as a quality helmet. Now you can buy such helmet in a shop for about 200pounds, and it costs around 160pounds in ebay. I bought mine in the end of last season, so many miles were covered with it.
As a line for advantages is so short, main ones will be written here:
Weight ~1370g. It is comparatively light and does not tire your nech in long trips.
Design. Even though lots of people say that quality and safety comes first - this would be perfect from the side of design. (You can definitely find colour scheme you like).
Quality - shoei is known for quality of the helmets, but as everybodys head is different shape, it is hard to find helmet that would be perfect for yours. I can't say, that this would fit for everybody, but it was brilliant for mine head.
DD ring -the safest way to hook helmet. You will never damage it, and it will definitely wont get away in case of the accident.
Pinlock - I was tired to drive motorcycle in morning when my visor of helmet became foggy. SHOEI XR1000 has antifog pinlock, so it can be removed during hot summer, and put on during cold mornings. Easy to put in a bag, or even a book.
Locking positions. This helmets has three visor positions:
"unlocked" when you can open and close visor easily.
"locked" when you are driving at speeds >100km/h, and you can forget about visor, It will definitely won't come out. I even tried to open it with my hands at home, and i couldn't - perfect thing.
"ventilation" visor is holden almost closed, but has a small air intake for better ventilation. Good if you forget your antifog at home.
You can change cheeks of the helmet easily if your face is smaller, or bigger - there are different sizes of those.
Disadvantages:
The only disadvantage I found was that it has lots of spare parts, that you can change, but you can't buy them in Europe. (For example Airwing, or some inside plastic parts).

Overall I should say, that for a while there is nothing better for such price - Silent, Handy, Optimal (by cost), Ergonomic and Inviting. Thats what SHOEI stands for.
