Clarks ads are funny

Advantages: Very humorous
Disadvantages: None

...gazing down at her new Clarks shoes and notices that a bit of paper has got stuck to the sole. She reaches down to pull the bit of paper off and is so intent on doing this that she forgets that it is a glass table and promptly thumps her head off it. I also like the one where the father is video taping his daughter about to blow out her birthday candles when he looks down through the camera lens at his new clarks shoes. He is so mesmerised by them ...
...I would certainly give Clarks full marks for these adverts because I think that they capture the viewer. I do not shop at Clarks for myself although have done over the years for my kids. I think that previously Clarks was a store more designed for the older generation and this is what they are trying to get away from. The adverts are showing a more modern approach in their product and I have to say that the next time that I am shopping for shoes ...

Brantano, a huge range and friendly service

Advantages: Very helpful, large range of footwear, good prices.
Disadvantages: The shop layout makes it difficult to find things sometimes.

...buy protective footwear in this shoe shop, but as I was in the area I gave it a try. I had trouble finding the right area by myself, and again I was greeted by a very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly member of staff. They found a couple fo pairs for me to try. I liked one pair, but they were too big. The shop assistant hurried off and came back with another pair which were again slightly too big. They explained how shoe sizes vary and that trainers ...
...another pair. These fitted perfectly and they advised me to walk around for a bit to make sure they were the right ones. I was suprised at the price, £40 for a pair of protective boots is not all that much. I was ever so pleased, and I am amazed at how light the boots are. I think that the shop is slightly too big, and the one in Aylesbury is a warehouse style, but they could do with clearly dividing the areas to make browsing easier. The advert ...

Toe Thongs!

Advantages: comfy sole, nifty idea

In my teens I loved Skecher's shoes. They were always hip and funky. My mum would always moan that they were consistently on the expensive side but at the time I wasn't bothered as long as I got the shoes I wanted! Well that selfish teen has grown up into a woman who still has a bit of a love affair going on with the shoe shops. When I first started earning my own money I was really bad with it and would buy stupid things I didn't need and ended ...
...have the opportunity to wear! When pregnant with our second child I in a mad hormonal state decided to get rid of things that were taking up space. I was ruthless! Baby finally arrived and once the household had calmed down and was back into our daily routines I realised what I had done.
