    Advantages Advantages Superb graphics, Polished gameplay, Revolutionalised multiplayer, RPG general system

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Not a revolutionary game, can be recource heavy

    Shogun 2 is one of the most polished Total War releases, it's perfected the evolution of the series that Empire started, and progresses past that game by miles. Creative Assembly and their fans would be the first to admit that the company had their hands too full with Empire with too many new features that were not implemented effectively. Then Napoleon came along and was a poorly disguised revision of Empire to garner some sales back. But this game is on par with Medieval and Rome, it takes the series a giant leap forward towards the ultimate goal of RTS perfection. The single-player mode ... more

    Advantages Advantages great leap in graphics

    Total War fans will rejoice at the long awaited revision of Shogun, the first ever game in Total War series. When Total War developers Creative Assembly decided that the next project they would invest their money and time into would be a remake of the game that put them on the map and started a franchise, Shogun :Total War, it must have been like a homecoming. Since the 2001 release of Shogun, Creative Assembly went on to produce five additional Total War games, all of which received critical success and cemented the series as one of the best franchises in the real time strategy genre.     3 Stars Fun but Buyer Beware!.... Review with images 22/04/2011

    Advantages Advantages Fun, Beautiful animation, Good Realism and as always historically accurate.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Lack of Units, Repetative Battles. No Decent mods at the moment.

    The game itself like most total war games is fun and interesting to play, however after a while you do tend to find yourself bored and restricted by the very limited numbers of units and the slightly repetative battles. The game seems like a slightly dumbed down version of medieval total war with alot less units and versatility. So at the moment unlike with most of the total war games there are no expansions (due to being so new) and no really good mods however this may come in time. I would most likely reccommend to buy this game but not now as the price for it at the moment does not ... more
