King's Court
Advantages: Quiet/Unique/Good Prices Disadvantages: In a blind spot
...the new end of M&S).
Kings Court is really aimed at the student end of the market although those who are young at heart should definately make a stop here.
There are only around 6 shops but they are all unique. "Mr Ben" is the only second hand retro shop in the city centre and it's helpful for those of us who like to find original 60's & 70's clothing at a quarter of the price - rather than pay for expensive replica's. "Kozi" is a independent clothing ... ...The atmosphere is funky and bright with a good selection of different styles. Take a look at their winter hats and amazing selection of tops! This shop is also great price wise!
The court also provides a store full of crystals and insense for those of you who require healing properties! You can also have a tarot card reading for those of you who dare!!!
Beside this lies a mexican resturant for hungry shoppers but the menu can be pricey! So if you ...

The great Glasweigen Walk
Advantages: Why go to Glasgow - This is why - Buchanan Street. Disadvantages: Sometimes infested with hooligans
...centred around Queen Street and Buchanan Bus Stations. And guess what street connects the heart of glasgow: Buchanan Street, split in half by the idyllic monumant - "Nelson Mandela Place".
I only really started appreciating it on Christmas Eve when I took the train into Queen Street with the aim to reach Debenhams Department Store, where I work, beside Central Station. I watched as the town centre became dark, and then I saw the heartline of Buchanan ... ...can buy almost anything on Buchanan street and on a dark night, the violet lights are mesmerising.
Transport around Glasgow, especially to Buchanan Street, is simplistic - Virtually all buses commute into Buchanan Bus Station and almost all trains link inexorably with Central and Queen Street Stations. Still, though, if you require extremely speedy transport to the city centre from different general areas of Glasgow, the Underground takes you to ...

A Nice Wee Visit
Advantages: good day out, lots of shops, something for everyone Disadvantages: it's in Glasgow
...the glass windows are the Buchanan Galleries. I love the appearance of the building and always buy something at the small Sainsbury's local next door. It is easy to get to Buchanan Street from the train station and bus station, there is also parking nearby which is easy for those coming a long way. When inside the Buchanan Galleries you see escalators, hectic atmosphere and Millie's Cookies. I love the cookies, I am sure it is still there anyway ... ...or also just go down Buchanan Street looking at shops or go to Sauciehall Street, St Enoch's centre is a tube stop away at Buchanan Street. Whatever You Want
Advantages: Vast range of shops and services Disadvantages: Covers a large area
...bit about the layout of Buchanan Street and the surrounding shopping area. Buchanan Street is the center of the area, running from north to south through the heart of the city. It is approximately a quarter of a mile long and completely pedestrianised (apart from a few streets that run across it). At the north end runs Sauchiehall Street, also partly pedestrianised, and at the south end, Argyle Street. The city center is built on a grid, making it ... ...There are two Underground stations, Buchanan Street Station at the north end of Buchanan Street, and St. Enoch Station on Argyle Street at the south end of Buchanan Street, which provide easy access from many parts of the city. There are two train stations serving the center, Central Station in the south and Queen Street Station in the north, just of Buchanan Street. Both stations provide access to areas within Greater Glasgow, aswell as further ...
