Good idea pity about the service Advantages: Cheap. Good idea Disadvantages: Poor service. Unreliable. Like many people I was introduced to this site a year ago when those adverts with the little ants were on TV. I thought the collective buy ethos was a neat idea so I checked out the web site, expecting there to be a big catch. But there wasn't. The site is well designed and well explained. It's simple to start an account and your account manager pages are easy to access, and give you all the info you need. The co-buys also look very attractive. I ... ...normal retail price. Of course the catch is that the co-buy needs enough people to join it for the price to come down. But you can aid this by emailing your friends through the site. So I thought I'd take the plunge and bought a pair of panasonic speakers for £20. (Reduced from £30) They notified me when the co-buy was complete, debited my account and approximately a week later the speakers arrived. Save yourself money by using Kelkoo Advantages: Easy to use website, great range of products, categories and sub categories Disadvantages: Can't find everything you want on there. I have only come across Kelkoo earlier in the year, as previosly I used Price Runner, but I prefer Kelkoo. The website is easy to navigate and more or less everything that I wanted to price check has been on there. There are loads of catergories and sub catergories. There have been many times when I have checked the price of the item I was looking for, and there are usually a good variety of retailers, clearing showing what the price of the product ... ...because it has been listed on Kelkoo, and looked better or was cheaper. The website is so easy to use, even if you are not a regular internet user, it is pretty self explanatory, just go to the category and browse, or type in the make or model that you want to check. It really couldn't be simpler, and the range of products is one of the highest that I have found compared with other price comparison websites. I keep it in my favourites now and I have ... Discounts for NHS Staff Advantages: Bargains to be had, Easy comps to enter Disadvantages: Only for NHS Staff They say that the NHS has over 1 million employees. Priceshopper UK Advantages: Nice design and navigation Disadvantages: not enough merchants and products Altough it is another website using Shopping.com's feed technology, I pretty much like it. The design, navigation is pretty neat, the only problem with it is that there is not enough merchants using Shopping.com, compared to Kelkoo's range - so you will get many if not up to 55% of results from the same merchants over and over again. Learn to Shopsmart.com Advantages: Will save you money. Easy to use. Disadvantages: You need to register for the sites that you are referred to. ...old and guess what? Shopsmart.com is no more!! That's it, gone, finito. There's a sign on the site thanking everyone for their past support and then suggesting they use Kelkoo.co.uk instead! I'm gutted, as I used to love this site. However, I have used Kelkoo before and have no problems going back in Shopsmarts absence.
