What is happening to our game

Advantages: More careful finances can prevent administration.
Disadvantages: Would lead to the death of many small clubs.

Why should Football Clubs be special?

Advantages: tighter controls on clubs
Disadvantages: some clubs may go bankrupt

...To suggest that football clubs should be exempt from this is an insult to those that keep within their limits. Take Leeds United, one of the biggest examples in this country of overspending, once the wheels came off because they'd overspent so badly they crumbled. The problem is there are too many people only concerned with money in the game and they aren't concerned with the supporters. It's the directors that make the choices and decide how much ...
