A fantastic alternative to body scrubs!
Advantages: Really invigorating, light and dries super fast. Disadvantages: Maybe a little harsh for sensitive skin.
I decided to try the Dermalogica ultimate buffing cloth after reading some very complimentary reviews on another website and wanting to cut down on the number of products I drag along with me to the gym...
Well I am certainly impressed! You can turn any shower gel into a super buffing, invigorationg scrub with this nifty device. It produces a lot of lather and you are able to scrub as gentle or as hard as you wish! It really gives a sense of thorough ... ...skin.
Also, thanks to it's super light and porous material, it dries very quickly, I hang mine out on the windowsill on a hot day, or just stick it in the airing cupboard.
Though I only intended to use it at the gym, it gives such an addictive scrub that I even like to use it at home! You can reach all difficult places, including your back thanks to it's measurements of 12x36" . I cannot praise this cloth enough, I can promise you will not be dissapointed! ...

Scrub scrub!
Advantages: nice, soothing Disadvantages: expensive
This skin scrub is way more expensive than many on the market but I bought it as a treat to myself after I had my daughter when I was wanting to 'treat' myself and spend a bit of time on me. It is quite a gentle scrub compared to others that I have tried and tested but still seems to have the same affect which is good as I don't feel like i've scrbbed myself raw with pips or grit or whatever the latest scrub contains! Instead this is much more gentle ... ...I have very fair and sensitive skin but this hasn't affected me at all so when it says it is suitable for sensitive skin types I can say that this much is true!
It contains a mixture of ingredients these being:
Essential Oils: Lavendar, Sandalwood, orange and rosemary
Olives
Dates
Figs
RIce bran
Papya Enzymes
Directions:
Just smooth into the skin in circular motions and rinse with warm water. The mixture of ingredients then work on the skin ...

Dermologica Hydro-Active Mineral Salts
Advantages: Nice soft skin Disadvantages: Nasty on the purse
As an avid fake tan enthusiast I'm alway's on the look out for a good skin scrub. I thought it acheived it's aim and worked very well, leaving my skin smooth and polished. The hydration part of the process was pretty good but I wouldn't say it had the immediate wow factor of some other thing's I've used. I also thought the whole it's a scrub it's a mineral bath thing was a bit cheeky. I mean, most salt scrubs when you get into the bath turn into ...

Carex Does'nt Care For Me!
Advantages: Gets my boys to wash their hands Disadvantages: dries out my hands, smells too strong
Soap in my downstairs toilet is a must as it is the main one which my boys use but getting them to wash their hands is sometimes a bit of challenge. When out shopping I spotted a pump action soap bottle which they loved the idea of as for them it was something a bit fun. I decided to get it as they were very keen but never really thought about what the consequences of buying it would be!
~~THE BOTTLE~~
The soap comes in a rectangle shaped bottle ... ...easily see how much of the green liquid soap is left and the push down pump top is a green plastic. The front of the bottle has the blue Carex logo in the middle and a small aloe Vera sign to the right. The back of the bottle contains all of the information about the soap. ~~USE AND RESULTS~~
The first time you use this soap you will have to unlock the pump top which is easily done by twisting it around. It is very simple to get the soap out of ...

A Christmas Treat from Lush
Advantages: Vanilla scented, softens skin Disadvantages: Leaves a greasy tide mark round the bath
Lush Mister Butterball: I went to Bath to do a spot of Christmas shopping last Friday and I nipped into Lush, (I was chuffed to find that Bath had one – mind you it’s a perfectly named city to have a Lush), and along with all my other goodies I got a Mister Butterball which is one of my Christmas regulars because it goes so perfectly with Snowcake soap which is one of my favourite things ever! For those of you unfamiliar with Lush, they are a company, ... ...to find out more about Lush their website is fab and they have loads of information about their ingredients and even have little videos showing how things are made or how to use them properly. (www.lush.co.uk). Mister Butterball is a snowman shaped bath ballistic, (like a bath bomb), and it’s a good size too, (approx. 10cm tall). Mister Butterball has had a make-over since last year and I prefer the new shape which sees Mister Butterball looking ...
