Beware if you have delicate skin Advantages: failed to find any Disadvantages: severe allergic reaction Have you ever seen someone's skin peel off in sheets? Nor had I until I took a bath in this stuff. Against my better judgement I used a sample of this at a friend's house. Knowing my skin is quite reactive I was only in the bath for a few minutes - but that was quite long enough! As i got out my skin started to peel - rather like those speeded up films of flowers opening on nature programmes, only a lot more gruesome. It was totally like something ... ...and got the damn stuff off as best I could, but I was left for about 2 weeks as though I'd had the worst imaginable case of sunburn you'e ever seen. The moral of the story is always always patch test. Nivea cream soap Advantages: good for dry skin Disadvantages: none Nivea is a soap that a have been using for a while now, (approx 2 years) I decided to try it as I noticed some dry patches of skin on my face. Description This soap comes in a light and dark blue cardboard box, it`s 125g and it cost me 50p for two bars, from my local pound shop, on the front of the box it says Nivea cream soap with Almond oil. On the side of the box it states, that it is "enriched with Almond oil, Nives creme, this soap gently ... ...in colour with the word Nivea engraved into it. This soap is suitable for in the shower or just handwashing. Reason I used this soap Originally I started to use this soap due to dry skin on my face, hoping that this soap would help and I was pleasently when it did just that, After using for a short while I noticed that my dry patches had disappeared, so I have used this soap ever since. Minty freshness to invigorate the skin!! Advantages: Fresh, tingly and cleansing Disadvantages: Slippery bottle!! ...were given "His and Hers" Nivea gift sets from an elderly aunt this year and we finally broke into them yesterday. Mine included a bottle of Nivea Bath Care Energising Shower Gel for Men, which I tried out yesterday, and this morning, and it is fantastic!!! Nivea have been producing their cosmetics ranges since 1911, with its signature blue packaging and white "Nivea" logo a well recognised brand on the shelves of chemists and supermarkets alike. ... ...good combination of the trademark Nivea "freshness" with a hint of mint. One weakness with the gel is that it is fairly slow to lather, and requires quite a lot of rubbing in to "get going". However, once it has lathered up there is a strong, eye-opening, mint fragrance that really wakes you up!! Nivea Bath Care Pampering Shower Gel Advantages: Leaves my dry, sensitive skin feeling fresh, clean and moisturised. Disadvantages: Not a product for everyone. I have dry, sensitive skin and I find other shower gels very abrasive. Most shower-gels are packed with lather inducing chemicals which suck the moisture from my skin and usually give me rash or skin irritation. I guess you could call this more inert??? If you are expecting a large amount of sudsy bubbles then this is not for you. It lathers slightly but nowhere near as much as the average shower gel. I would recommend this product! However, it does ... ...made a lot of difference to my skin. If you have even slightly oily skin it's probably not your cup of tea. The smell is not unpleasant but again it's not flowery or herby like a lot of shower gels. Personally I like it. The after-smell it leaves is different from how it smells straight from the bottle but it's still very fresh and clean. Most of all it doesn't leave my skin flaky or dry. ''Just blooming with life". A total compliment. Advantages: Light lovely fragrance, soft creamy foam, leaves skin very soft. Disadvantages: It's new and probably won't be on offer for long! Nivea The Nivea brand has been going for years. Even before the titanic set sail, Nivea was already a popular little tin of crème and had set its mark for years to come. These days Nivea are involved in a wide range of heath and beauty products. From their original moisture crème to a new cosmetic range. Nivea know exactly what they are doing.
