This bag is designed for the mini computers made by Shuttle.

Size:
The bag is 36cm long, 23 cm wide and 19.5 cm high.

Compatibility:
It is just the right size to fit the following models of Shuttle's tiny computers:
SV24, SV25, SS50C, SS51G, SV51F, SB51G, SS40G, SS40F, SK41G, SN41G2
iuse it with my Shuttle SS51G and its perfect as it's made this with and other models in mind.

Appearance:
The carry case is made out of a shiny plastic material that is slash proof. This is great if you have to go from the car to the office or whether in the rain as you can ensure the computer wont get wet. I would say its not water proof so dont go walking around with it in the rain :)
The bag is silver and black and features the Shuttle logo on the front flap. Under this is where a zip is to ensure the bag is done up securely. The front flap has a tie-clip catch and at the top of the carry case is a handle. If you want, you can remove the optional padded shoulder strap to carry it like a brief case. There is a front pocket big enough to fit your network cable and power cable for the shuttle. There are also pockets inside the front zipped up pocket that are deisgned to hold 4 or so floppy disks. It certainly makes it convienent when carrying more than just the computer about.
On each side of the back, there is a small pocket that is done up with a zip. I am able to fit my mouse in there in one of the pockets.

Using it:
It is a bit of a tight fit getting the shuttle into the case but once it is in place, I can fit a DVD down the side of the shuttle and this is very handy. I also can fit my mouse mat on top of the shuttle. I have a roll up keyboard but its too big to go into the case. It is a shame as I would have everything I need for the computer except a monitor. However, a shuttle is never meant to be a substitute for a laptop. If you want that sort of thing, then buy a laptop! However this case makes it so much easier to transport the computer around. I use the case for when I go home from university and taking the computer to LAN parties. The case is so much stronger than the supplied cardboard box that it is well worth buying if you think you might be moving the computer round every now and again.

Maintaining it:
unfortunaely I got some CD-R pen ink on my case and it will not come off. I am sure it would have done if I wiped it off when it first happened. This was partially my fault and I have not tried particularly hard at removing it.
its the sort of useful item that doesnt get used every week. I do not move my Shuttle about much as it still involves the annoyance of unplugging the monitor, USB cables, mouse, graphics tablet, printer, audio cables and whatever else is connected so it doesnt make it a instant process of putting it in the case. I use my computer in conjunction with a TFT monitor so I can a basic set up with TFT box (inc. rollup keyboard in box) in one hand and shuttle in its case on my shoulder. I have carried this about and its not ideal because the shuttle does get heavy and will dig into your shoulders. It is also not very nice when the shuttle gets stuck in the doorway as i am extra wide with shuttle on one side and TFT monitor box on the other.

Apart from that, and it is nothing to do with the design, it is an excellent case and makes it so much easier to move the computer about.

Price:
The case can be bought from gemma.co.uk around £15.

This makes me feel old - I was a student fifteen years ago and I've never heard of a LAN party!
