This is a great phone! It is the optimized no nonsense telephone for the user that wants function over smartness.
The phone is very tiny but even I, who has quite big fingers, am able to use the keys untroubled. The weight of the phone is low (84g), which in my oppinion is a bad sign. However the sturdiness of the phone appears ok. Talking and SMSing is very functional and trobleless, and the battery time is ok.
The drawbacks must be that the phone lacks a countdown clock. I have alwas had Nokia before this, and in Nokia a countdown clock is standard. Admitted, I only use it when I cook eggs, but it is a smart feature that could easily have been included.

Advantages: Sturdy design, good screen, a product of quality Disadvantages: Non-minijack headset, 'the last 10%', the T9-setup.
words is also a bit tricky and made much better by other brands.
I have experienced multiple times that the SIM-card will be shaken loose, so you'll have to reattatch it. Annoying!
It is also a bit disappointing that the USB-cable only gives access to the FLASH-memory card. No extra features here.
And I was first thrilled by the fact that it had mini-jack connector for the headset - Until I learned it was a sort of mini-mini-jack. :-(
The bluetooth is not at all stable, which might be due to my PC's bluetooth dongle.
Within the software there is no countdown clock, which in the end became fatal for my keeping the phone, and I sold it, replacing it with the very simple SiemensA57, as this must be said to be a no-nonsense phone.
I tried to contact Motorola to learn whether it was possible to install a JAVA-countdown clock, but ...
