This is a great phone! It is the optimized no nonsense telephone for the user that wants function over smartness.
The phone is very tiny but even I, who has quite big fingers, am able to use the keys untroubled. The weight of the phone is low (84g), which in my oppinion is a bad sign. However the sturdiness of the phone appears ok. Talking and SMSing is very functional and trobleless, and the battery time is ok.
The drawbacks must be that the phone lacks a countdown clock. I have alwas had Nokia before this, and in Nokia a countdown clock is standard. Admitted, I only use it when I cook eggs, but it is a smart feature that could easily have been included.
The phone does not feature GPRS, but who uses WAP anyway, really?
If one may have the need for the GPRS it is possible to flash the phone with the firmware from the Siemens C55 - That will do the trick.
All in all a good phone. It appears to be of an average durability, but is a good example of 'qualität auf Deutchland' as it is made before Siemens sold out (litteraly) to the French Benq.
