I bought my A60 about 6 months ago to replace the EXELLENT Sagem phone that I had ironically dropped in orange juice.
My Sagem was loud when I needed it to be, robust, had a great (B&W) screen with a natty analogue appearance clock dial. VERY useful for "@ a glance" timechecks & a great volume adjuster for its loudspeaker & I could get a signal from the inside of a nuclear fallout shelter. (Well - maybe I'm exaggerating a little there)
By contrast, the A60 has a pathetic volume for both the "loud"speaker & the ringtones, is poorly constructed, as amply demonstrated by all the creaking that it makes in my hand & by the way that the screen cover is delaminating, plus the unit has a poor resolution colour screen.
There are some infuriating wait times between screen changes & as for signal - well that's it's worst "feature". I have chatted with other Siemens owners, who, interestingly, have the same complaint, regardless of signal provider.
What I need (& you can call me old fashioned here) is a cheap pay-as-you-go phone that makes phone calls & is easy + fast to use.
Cheap it may be, but the A60 was no cheaper than my old Sagem & does the job a sight poorer.
Oh yes - some of the buttons are not very positive either.
I will return to Sagem when I next find an unguarded glass of juice.......
