The colour screen is standard, gives the phone some colours which I consider to be real enough, as in not too fake.
The polyphonic ringtones can seem a little strange at first but you may find them acceptable after a while.

I've had this phone for about 5 months now and feel ready to review it.
Well to start with I got it free from a mobile network after I won a raffle to spend a day with a well known mobile network.
This phone is similar to the Siemens A65 except this one DOESN'T have a camera attachment and CANNOT take photos -- that should clear a few complications up for some people.
This phone is very lightweight which, for me, caused me to drop it more than any other phone -- although this happens less and less with more and more use.
It's got a Colour Screen, Polyphonic Ringtones, Games, Wallpapers and can accommodate some types of picture, none real -- all cartoon/animation ones.
The colour screen is standard, gives the phone some colours which I consider to be real enough, as in not too fake.
The polyphonic ringtones can seem a little strange at first but you may find them acceptable after a while.
Games wise, it comes with two pre-loaded games, one called 'Stack Attack' and the other called 'Magic Picture'.
In Stack Attack you're a warehouse worker in a small warehouse and you have to push coloured boxes around to make a group of three or more which then vanish.
Each block falls from cranes at the top of the warehouse, which means you can be killed therefore ending your game. This game is somewhat like Tetris except all the blocks come down on their own and you can move them around. Three characters to choose from each unlocked at certain high scores.
In Magic Picture, you get a picture and have to move each 'tile' around to recreate the picture in it's original form. Except unlike the 'real' versions of this game, you can quickly switch between the actual image and your current stage.
Wallpapers are pretty simple, the phone has pre-loaded pictures and all you have to do is find your perfect image and go through the options menu to set it up as your wallpaper.
This phone also allows for screen-savers, my current one being a clock which is very helpful.
You can actually lock this phones keypad pretty simply by pressing and holding the # key and that's all.
My only real complaint is that the GPRS is sometimes really really slow to use in terms of entering data or loading pages. Siemens/BenQ haven't really impressed me with this phone.
The loud-speaker which is usable when making/receiving a call is pretty powerful .... but only really works well when the other person is indoors since their background noise may be picked up and make it dodgy/fuzzy to hear.
On the subject of texting, sending a normal text message is pretty easy but as I said, entering text whilst browsing the Internet, this phone is pathetic.
This next paragraph may put you off a little bit.
Finally Battery life is probably the worst I've seen in a phone I've used .. although it apparently takes just 2 hours to charge, this doesn't provide a massive load of power. The actual battery meter isn't in a bar format, it's the shape of a battery. After playing one game of Stack Attack you may see that the battery differs somewhat from when you started your game.
So to wrap this up ... if you want a simple, cheap phone with standard functionality then go for this one, if you want anything more then please save yourself the hassle and try another phone!
Advantages: Cheap, colour screen, lightweight and easy to press buttons Disadvantages: No frills whatever
I used to own a Siemens A55, it was ok... Orange screen, *games*, internet, polyphonic ringtones and so on. Though unfortunately it died.
So I went out to the orange shop and bought the cheapest phone I could which so happened to be the A62 for just under £20. It looks nice, is pretty small and weighs next to nothing! Done deal
The phone's features are what you would expect for the price. A colour sreen buttons which work and some cheap games including ... ...you move evade and position falling blocks. It provides minimal excitement at the lowest of times though!
The phone contains some preloaded cartoon pictures and animations as a wallpaper or screensaver, they aren't much to brag about but certainly colour the phone up a bit!
The phone is capable of internet (downloading ringtones and such) though I haven't personnaly used this function. It contains a fair few poly/monophonic ringtones, some more ...

Quick review of Siemens A62
This looks and seems a lovely little phone - but it isn't! It fails after about a year: I have had two of them and the same thing happened with both, after the same length of time - switch on, get blue screen for about 2 seconds, then a buzz, then nothing. I have on both occasions lost much important info. Local Moby shop say this happens with phones of all makes, but I know nobody that it has happened to. I am buying other makes in future! ...

Advantages: light and compact Disadvantages: doesn't have any of the up to date usage abilities
I must say that I use this phone right now. I am not happy with it as it's not got any of the things any of the up to date phones have. it's games are minimum, however it is alright as a child's first phone. I would recommend this to parents that want to buy their children a first phone just to see if the child can look after a phone and use it properly. although it's networks work really well (orange). The phone is small and compact and you can ...

Advantages: Small, Lightweight, Ease of use Disadvantages: Seems to break too quickly
for a decimal point. Extremely simple to use and it's the main one I'll use instead of my Nokia 6310i or my SiemensA62 which also have calculators.
Calendar is different compared to the one on the Nokia 6310i. Instead of a 'grid' of dates, each date is displayed on the screen day by day. Advantage is that you get little symbols indicating what, if anything, is taking place on that day.
Generally a great phone to use but it does have one small drawback.
I've seen a lot of other people with this phone actually putting their index and middle finger together on the aeriel located at the top back which Nokia suggest you don't do as this may cause the network signal to need more power therefore using up more battery life.
Anyway, if you need a phone for personal or business use then this one is perfect although you may find the cost a bit ...

paragraph is new as of 3rd Sept '06) Sadly this phone currently has a fault with the microphone which will need fixing. Once I have fixed it I will be using the Orange SIM card from my SiemensA62 (see other review) in this phone and not use the Siemens any more.
So to quickly finish up...this phone seems OK for now but you'll have to wait for my opinions once I've got a charger and charged it up.
And finally, I promise that as soon as I've charged it up and had a good 'play' with it, I'll change this review based on my **new** opinions.
[Note: Sorry this review is so long but if you think you can shorten it up, please let me know]
***UPDATE #1: I'VE BROUGHT A CHARGER AND HAVE CHAGED UP & USED THE PHONE NOW SO I'LL UPDATE REVIEW VERY SOON***
***UPDATE #2: I'VE STILL GOT TO GET AROUND TO RE-WRITING THIS REVIEW PROPERLY! SORRY IT ...
