I used to own a Siemens A55, it was ok... Orange screen, *games*, internet, polyphonic ringtones and so on. Though unfortunately it died.
So I went out to the orange shop and bought the cheapest phone I could which so happened to be the A62 for just under £20. It looks nice, is pretty small and weighs next to nothing! Done deal
The phone's features are what you would expect for the price. A colour sreen buttons which work and some cheap games including the sequel to 'stack attack' a tetris style game where you move evade and position falling blocks. It provides minimal excitement at the lowest of times though!
The phone contains some preloaded cartoon pictures and animations as a wallpaper or screensaver, they aren't much to brag about but certainly colour the phone up a bit!
The phone is capable of internet (downloading ringtones and such) though I haven't personnaly used this function. It contains a fair few poly/monophonic ringtones, some more tasteful than others.
There is no camera, mp3 player or radio on the phone so 'techno junkies' won't enjoy it (though at this price I don't expect anything mroethan the ability to ring people and text!)
weight wise this phone is very light and almost unoticable when in a pocket or bag and dropping won't cause it to break. The back may come off but that's the worse that will happen.
Battery life is reasonable so far. Charging takes about 1 1/2 hours and lasts for a few days with me.
Texting is reasonably good, the buttons are easy to press and not all squidged together which is nice. There is however a lag when texting, letters show up a noticable time after you press the associated button.
All in all it's a cheap phone, no real frills BUT it works, it texts, it answers call and doesn't cost an arm and a leg and if that is what you are really looking for the by all means buy this phone. There are prob better ones out there at the same price though.
