I bought this phone a couple of weeks ago to replace an old Nokia phone. My use for a cell phone is to make calls and sometimes send text messages. Nothing fancy. The Siemens A65 does its job but not really more than this. It took me a while to get used to the menues. An advantage is that you can use the number keys if you know exactly where you want to go. The structuring is sometimes not really intuitive. Games and internet in the same menue for example, while the decision if you want to use GPRS is in Setup->Connectivity and not in the Surf and Fun section. All capital writing in texts is only possible by switching to First letter capital, then typing the first letter, then switching to all letters capital.
Opening of some menues takes a long time and I don't think I am too impatient with this.
Battery life on the other hand is quite good. The battery charges in about 1 hour and my phone has a standby time of about 1 week with light use (about 20 minutes talking and 10-20 texts).
I tried to find out about a fascia but I couldn't find one. The screen however seems to be quite scratch resistance since I am keeping the phone in my pocket together with keys and it is not yet scratched.
Altogether I think it is the right phone for somebody who just needs a phone for the odd phone call and doesn't really bother about extras.

Hi, this really needs more info, like how much for example. I'm looking for a budget phone, why should I pick this one? If you add more info, I'd be happy to re-rate, drop me a line if you do. Kamsin
