The siemens A65 is a very basic phone it is one that you really dont want to have. Its the type of phone that you would give to someone at christmas or for a birthday if you dont really like them but have to buy them a present.
LOOK The look of the phone is not that bad not to sure if you can get them in different colours but the one i had was red, with a bit of grey on there as well.
FEEL It was not to bad a feel it is quite small and fits in the hand well.It is also quite light with plastic feeling buttons.Small enough to fit into your pocket ok.
SCREEN The screen size is not that bad about 1 1/2 inches each way maybe a bit smaller.Very small if you look at some of the new phones around today. The bad thing or should i say one of the bad things about this phone is the display. It is very very bad it is not at all clear it just looks like a cheap effort.
THE PHONE OVERVIEW It has internet but will cost you a arm and a leg to use plus its rubbish. It has text message and phone book and all the basic stuff a phone should have. Its battery life is pretty good but thats about it.
EASE OF USE
Seams this phone is very basic you would think that it would be very easy to use well think again.Unless it is me being a wally i borrowed this phone once because my phone was being replaced so i was without a phone and needed one for work. When i was at work i took every chance to mess about with the phone as you do (when no one was about)and for the life of me couldnt work it out.I knew how to make calls and the text bit (that took me so time to work out)but that was it.I found the phone very hard to work out.
CONCLUSION I would recomend you stay well clear from this phone ,It is cheap i paid £29.00 from the virgin website which included £10.00 airtime.Unfortunatly the price of the phone says it all really a very basic phone for a basic price.
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
A good review but a few spelling mistakes. Having been an owner of Siemens, they know how to make simple phones. Currently in our family we have a Nokia 1100 which is simple and basic but does the job. If the phone's main section works for you such as making calls and writing texts, what other bother do you have? It seems to me that although this phone didnt appeal to you it may appeal to others once the price has paid - not everyone wants a technological phone bristling with features and a camera.

Advantages: Small, lightweight, good size colour screen, good deal on Virgin at moment with extra airtime Disadvantages: Bit slow for each function to load (or maybe I'm just impatient)
