Mobile phones.....There’s so many to choose from there’s the trouble free Nokia the Fiddly Ericsson and the Siemens which cant be described any other way from boring. Well this is a complete exception. The C25 isn’t boring in any shape or form. I bought the C25 because it looks such a fun phone at a reasonable price.
I first owned a Siemens S6 which is a brick. I owned the S6 about 2-3 year ago and proved trouble free. I choose siemens as it was recommended by carphone warehouse and all the phones were the same back then.
The siemens C25 was one of the best handsets on the market apart from the common Nokias. I paid about £59.95 on the orange just talk tariff. I think it was good value for money like most Siemens models.
Battery wise the phone scores nowhere as near to the Nokia 402 but performs to an acceptable standard. I’m a medium user of the phone as this is a 2nd phone for me. It will need charging evenly 2 days 3 if your lucky and each full charge will last 2 to 3 hours.
Reception Quality is not bad at all as good as any Nokia model I have used including the Nokia 3330.Call quality is another good point to this phone again the call quality is just as good as the Nokia 3330.
The Siemens is not very good to feel but it looks reasonably cool. With the Orange Just Talk tariff I had a standard deep blue cover, which was very attractive and looked quite smart. There is no clip on covers for the Siemens but I don’t bother with that kind of stuff. The handset ways 135g inc the standard battery.
The Siemens is not really a very durable phone and is not all that strong but strong enough against excessive wear. I recommend that you buy a leather case to prevent it from bumps and bashes as the C25 wont stand up to many.
Phone Book. The phonebook cannot take as many numbers as the newer Nokia models but its large enough for me. I believe it’s capable of holding around 80 names and numbers. The phone book is straight forward and self-explanatory.
Sms messaging is a great way to keep in touch and one of the best features on the phone. Texting is easy and a nice feature to use as the buttons are soft. The 3 line display makes text messaging easier.
Ringing tones. The ringing tones are quite catchy and are meant to be composed by some of the GB's best DJ's...There is space for 1 composed ringing tone. At mobilemelodies.com you can choose from a long list of ringing tones e.g. Shaggy and Alice Dejay.
The phone is quite easy to use and easy to learn if you use a bit of common sense you will navigate trough the phones menu no problem.
I would recommend this phone to someone who wants to be slightly different. I would recommend this phone to late teen as it’s a cool phone and the ringing tones are best suited to teens. I would not recommend it to a business user or adult as because of the phone book memory.
The Siemens C25 is only available on the Orange Just talk tariff and the One2one tariff and also the Vodafone tariff.(This is including only the pay as u go tariffs)

Tretty thorough op on what is, as you say, a fairly basic but reliable phone. I have a Seimens s35 which I reviewed a while back, and I love it. With it, Seimens addressed many of the shortcomings you found on the c25. Pricey though! Cheers ~ Steve

Advantages: It's small, light weight and nice looking. You can also write your own ring tones onto it! Disadvantages: No games, and hasn't got a changable fascia. But that's it!
