I bought this phone just before Christmas last year from the Carphone Warehouse. It cost me £80, with £15 credit on Virgin Mobile. I was looking for a good value little WAP camera phone - nothing special - to replace my old obsolete Siemens A50.
GOOD POINTS:
What I found was a real gem for the price. An excellent design - which is both stylish and funtional, with really nice colours, are the most striking features you get as a first impression. It's compact, lightweight, and has good ergonomics.
The phone is very easy to navigate around with - you select by clicking one of the two option buttons by the screen, and move around using the joystick.
For its size, (approx. 12cm by 3cm by 1.5cm), there is an excellently sized screen, which has a resolution of 352 by 288 pixels. This is fine for the built-in graphics, although sometimes the photos don't look great when you use the zoom.
The camera is quite useful and very easy to use - simply point, and click the joystick. You also have the capacity to zoom up to 3 times, and the ability to change the brightness settings when you take the photos is good for adjusting the visibilty of the photos. There is also a realky nice little photo-editing facility, which lets you add in caricatures and morph your photos.
Texting using both standard SMS and multi-media messages are easy to use and show you the characters and number of messages used, althugh some people moving from Nokia phones often have trouble remembering that the '1' is a space, and '0' is punctuation on Siemens. I have the same trouble, but vice versa.
The games are another good feature in the phone. 'Bubble Boost' is a bit like Rayman or Mario, and is my personal favourite. There is also Stack Attack 2, which is a tetris type game, but complicated and difficult to get the hang of, and Photopet, a good concept - you adopt a pet and feed it and look after it - like Tamagotchi.
BAD POINTS
The main bad points about the phone are its' battery life and occasional unreliability.
Although you are meant to get a few days out of it, battery can easily be half gone with an hour of playing on the games, and the standby time is very poor, to the extent that if I'm using it the next day, even if it displays lots of battery, I'll put it on full-charge overnight, and I can expect most of it to be depleted if I've been texting that day.
The phone also tends to freeze if you take too many photos at any one time, and the only solution is to take the battery out.
I had to take the first model i got back to the store and swop it for this reason, and my new one is much better.
Ultimately, this is a good value first camera phone, with some very nice features and a good design. It's only bad points are it's reliability and battery life , but if you're willing to put up with these, then you won't be disappointed.
Advantages: Has IrDA, MMS and built in camera. Disadvantages: Sometimes freezes and takes some time to download or send files.
The Siemens C65, as far as I know hasn't been out too long, it's shape is sleek and sounds beautiful.
This has been my new updated phone since my last Siemens, I love Siemens, they sound great, looks unique and had a combination of different utilities. Most phones have there problems but so far I haven't come across too many, occasionally it freezes, which means I have to either press the phone down button or take the battery out, and can take a ... ...recent problem with this phone is that when put into my pocket, it decided to switch off, which I wasn't too pleased about, especially if your expecting calls, so I had to stuff tissue in the back of the phone to put more pressure of the battery, and since I have been lucky not to have come across this problem again. It also doens't have a great reception pick up. But considering what the phone does, i don't really mind this.
The battery also doesn't ...

Advantages: Good value for money - alot of features for the price Disadvantages: Occasionally freezes - small photo resolution
No one else has written a review about this phone for Ciao yet, so when trying to find out about it I had to look elsewhere. But the reviews were mostly excellent...
The phone is small, height & width not much bigger than the average bank card, and very light, with attractive exchangable covers and a built in CIF camera which takes reasonable quality small (352x288 pixels) pictures. The screen is 130x139 pixels with 65K color display and the phone ... ...with 10Mb of memory for lots of phone numbers (and other details), pictures and other storage. It supports MMS, is WAP enabled, has T9 predictive text input, a sound recorder and a bunch of other features including a basic photo editor, calculator, stopwatch, calendar, and alarm. The phone comes with a few games already installed, including a PhonePet that needs to be fed photos to keep it alive (cute), and a good selection of ring tones. More are ...

Advantages: the camera quality and easy to use features Disadvantages: could do with a built in flash for camera
I really love my siemens and would recommend it to anyone. The camera, I think, is the best feature with crystal clear picture quality. The pictures can be sent to an e-mail account and come through as large well-focused prints. Another good feature is the gprs which is a device on the phone that enables you to share/receive pictures, ringtones, and information with any other gprs phone - for free! It has all the usual features like text messaging, ... ...have had my model over 6 months and am not looking to update it. I keep finding new features even now! It has an easy to use joystick and you can assign keys for speed dialling. It also has all the usual calenders, calculator, sound recorder etc. It is a nice -looking little number and fits easily into pockets without being "too light" (I like a phone with a bit of weight!)
I enjoy the games and the ringtones provided arent too tacky!! I bought ...
