Advantages: Small, light Disadvantages: plasticcy, not intuitive
My Savvy died on me beep beep it went and waved goodbye with it’s little pixilated hand, it’s enough to bring a tear to my eye…. Actually the charger was broken and the nice lady at the mobile phone shop is fixing for me right now, woe betide them if they don’t get it right, I’ll be writing a stiff review and then they’ll be sorry, Consumer Power!!! (Actually since they took the phone and since I wrote this first paragraph I got a phone call, it seems there is a problem with the repair, I can already feel my bile rising…..)
So to prove just how nice the lady was she gave me a Siemens C25 to love in the place of my Savvy, I wasn’t actually too impressed to be honest, it looked boxy and a bit plastic, not as nice as my blue Savvy. But it was very light and to be honest its not actually ...

Advantages: It's got all the features I want from a phone Disadvantages: None
After moving into a new house and sorting out a landline, it was time to get a new phone. So a friend gave us a corded phone, but no, that wasn't good enough for Mr. Nykied, who wanted to be able to lie on the sofa and speak to people. So off we trotted to Tesco, where we were faced with a whole array of cordless phones, a lot of them with offers on them.
I liked two different ones, he liked the Siemens CS385. As the area where the phones are based has fairly loud music playing in it and I was on the phone to my sister who'd just had a baby a few hours before and I wanted to make the most of the extortionate amount the NHS would be charging me for ringing my sister, I capitulated (a lot faster than I would have usually, that's for sure) and we left Tesco with two Siemens CS385 phones.

My dirty old Nokia 3310 was past its sell-by-date years ago so I have to admit to getting ridiculously over excited at the prospect of a new phone. So many decisions to be made. Colour, polyphonic ringtones, games, and camera, one of those flip clamshell types or a standard Nokia style? Given my self-imposed budget of £60 surely I had given myself little leeway regarding the type of phone I could purchase?
Never underestimate the dididave obsession with bargain hunting.
