The Olympus Camedia C-460 Zoom:
My Review for the Olympus C-460 :)
I got the Olympus Camedia C-460 from Curry's, I paid about £170 for it. I was very cheeky and said "what do I get if I buy it from here" they asked me what did I mean and told them "I wanted a bigger memory card free" after a bit of haggling I got the 512 meg card for a £10, They was selling them for £30. If you don't ask you will never know, I got a pc for a friend from Comet about 2 years ago and got them a printer free :)
I got home and the first thing i found as with a lot of cameras etc was no batteries. Why or why do they just not put the price up by £10 and add the rechargeable packs?
Lets get on with it....The box is nice and has loads of information on it. Covers the specifications of the camera etc. Open the box and oh look a little bit ...
Advantages: Many features, "pretty" good voice quality Disadvantages: Too numerous to mention
I now have my second S455 Gigaset. The first one had a speaker phone, which worked intermittently. Before the phone could be sent (at my expense) to Texas for repair, customer service had to be called to get a necessary number. More than a week and four calls resulted in nothing. I filed a formal complaint with the BBB and the number was finally receiver via email.
The following comments apply to both S455 cordless phones: The keypad is small and the keys are close together, neither of which is convenient for a man. To make matters worse, the keys require considerable pressure to activate. Only some of the keys are lighted, which means that they must be identified using normal room light or by key position on the pad.
The instructions are vary badly written, apparently be someone with only a clausal understanding with the English ...
Advantages: It's got all the features I want from a phone Disadvantages: None
After moving into a new house and sorting out a landline, it was time to get a new phone. So a friend gave us a corded phone, but no, that wasn't good enough for Mr. Nykied, who wanted to be able to lie on the sofa and speak to people. So off we trotted to Tesco, where we were faced with a whole array of cordless phones, a lot of them with offers on them.
I liked two different ones, he liked the Siemens CS385. As the area where the phones are based has fairly loud music playing in it and I was on the phone to my sister who'd just had a baby a few hours before and I wanted to make the most of the extortionate amount the NHS would be charging me for ringing my sister, I capitulated (a lot faster than I would have usually, that's for sure) and we left Tesco with two Siemens CS385 phones.
There was an offer on where you could get ...
