I’ve had 2 other mobile phones in the past and now currently own the Siemens M35. When it was bought it came in a blue, white and red one2one box, which also included a charger, 2 booklets, a registration form and the SIM card. After registration you also get £5 credit on your account. The 2 booklets were the phone manual which tells you how to insert the SIM, how to charge your phone, and how to use the different functions, such as putting phone numbers in the phone. The second was information about your service provider, in my case one2one. In that it tells about their charges for the variety of ways to communicate, such as phones on the same network, WAP,and text messages.
The phone itself is 130g in weight, it is a 118mm in length, 47mm in width, and 22mm in height, which is pretty small and light. It is also water, shock and dust resistant, and comes in three different colours, grey blue and yellow. I chose yellow because it was by far the nicest and also bright, so I knew it would get noticed. The battery stand by time is 50 – 180 hours, its talk time is 90 – 300 hours and when the battery finally runs out it only takes 2 hours for it to re-charge to its full potential.
The Siemens M35 is a simple phone to use and it has a large ammount of functions. The order of options in the menu are as follows:
a) Internet – here you can log on to the world wide web to receive your emails, send emails, visit sites etc.
b) Office and fun – in office and fun there is another access site to the internet, there’s a function were you can store up to 30 appointments, there’s a calculator, a currency converter, an alarm clock, a stopwatch and 4 games. Wayout, reversi, quattropoli (connect four) and minesweeper are the games and they are quite at quite a good standard especially minesweeper which is totally addictive.
c) Messages – here you can write/ send messages including picture messages. There is an intelligent typing function. You can store up to 10 messages either in the incoming box or in the outgoing. You can also access your voice messaging service from here.
d) Records – the last 10 missed calls, the last 10 received calls and the last 10 dialled calls are stored here. Also the last 10 missed alarms are found here to.
e) Profiles – here if the phone is used by more than one person you can log on to your name making sure that you have the settings you chose.
f) Audio – in audio you have a choice of ringer settings, either on, off or beep. There’s a volume setting which lets you control how loud you want your melody to go off. A melody option where you can chose out of 20 melodies which one you want for each function, for example, message alert, incoming phone call etc. There is also a setting that allows you to compose your own melody., but unfortunately you can only save one melody to the phone. Also in audio there’s a vibration option, and a call screening option.
g) Time/Charge – this option lets you know how much time has been spent on your last call, all incoming calls and all of your outgoing calls.
h) Divert – here you can decide which calls get diverted to your answering machine. There’s a choice of unanswered calls, all calls, all fax calls, all data calls and also specific divert whereyou get to chose which numbers you want sent straight to your answering machine.
i) Setup – here you can change a variety of things. You can change your menu mode either to brief or complete. You can change the phones language, the display of the phone, i.e the sixe of the font, pictures, personal greetings, and you can switch off your call identity so that when you phone out your number wont be displayed on the other persons phone.
Now I bet you're wondering where the phone book option is. Well this has its own little button. Just underneath the screen, on the right hand side there's a little button with a book on it, thats where you'll find the phonebook. In the phone itself there is room to store 100 numbers and it the SIM card you can store up to 250. In this option you can also give certain numbers calling faces or symbols, these are little animation that appear when the person is phoning you.
Hopefully I've said everything there is to say about this phone because it really is a brilliant phone and it only cost me £69.99. Apart from not being able to recieve logos or melodies, it does everything I need it to do and as I'm a bit of a Klutz I'm always dropping my phone and due to its shock resistance it hasn't broke yet.

Advantages: Phone is easy to use Disadvantages: Slow internet facility
I bought my Siemens M35 phone about a year ago. I was attracted mainly by its low price and sleek finish.
The BASICS
The phone is part black, part grey, and looks good due to its curvy shape. In terms of size, it is about 4.5cm wide and 12cm long, and weighs about 110g. It is therefore quite a nicely sized phone - ideal for slipping in your pocket. A fully charged battery can provide a standby time of between 50 and 180 hours, and a talk time of ... ...and replacing the battery.
The phone's signal is also quite good, but poor underground.
OVERALL VERDICT
The Siemens M35 is good value for money, looks attractive and is easy to use. The range of features is very impressive, although the internet facility can be slow at times. ...

Phone was easy to use, with long address book. Unlike some phones, it has one, easily accessible address book incorporating both phone and sim card addresses. WAP was slow and difficult to use. Key pads wore off quickly, slighly disfiguring the phone, but the phone itself was fairly durable depite several drops... although it would crash temporarily sometimes. the battery indicator was crapp... and followed an "accelerating pathway" - seemingly full ...

Advantages: Lightweight, easy to use menu system & reliable Disadvantages: Internet access & Ringtones
I have had my Siemens M35 for around 8 months now and It has been one of the best phones that I have had, It has easy to use scroll menus (which all have "usage hints" which I think is a great Idea if you are not sure of the menu options). The design is similar to the Nokia 3310/3330 although it is not as heavy as a Nokia. The battery life I have found to be ecellent as I use the phone for work and I am on the phone for around 2-5 hours a day and ... ...are easy to send/receive and all other options i.e alarms, reminders & profiles are all easily managed. The only drawback I can really think of but is nothing major is the fact it is hard to find ringtones and then when you do you have to programme them in yourself. overall I would recommend the M35 as it is small, smart, easy to use and is a reliable little phone. Good job Siemens.... ...

Hi friends......
I was use it 4 years a go, It measures 47 x 118 x 22 mm, in size and weighs 125g, a relatively heavy handsets compared with M35 but you can hold easily because of its design. A simple monochrome display phone which has similar look, as with SiemensM35, the only difference you notice while is the phone has internal antenna where as SiemensM35 has external antenna. SiemensM35i supports for Dual-band GSM 900/ GSM 1800 MHz network connectivity and most common features such as SMS, WAP 1.1, Games, Currency converter, Calculator, Stopwatch, Vibration alert, 20-Monophonic ring tone with composer allows you to create your own ring tones and set accordingly.

Advantages: Strong and compact many features Disadvantages: may be too advanced for beginners
I bought my SiemensM35i because I have always used Siemens mobile phones and have found them to be well designed and easy to use. The M35i is part of One 2 One's pay as you go scheme and costs £69.99.
The phone is solidly built and has rubber casing. It is splash proof and shock proof which appealed to me as I don't like having to hide my phone in a leather case.
The standby time and talk time are both good for everyday use.
The M35i has many features inluding WAP provided by T mobile, stopwatch, calculator, currency converter, large phonebook, 4 games, email, 20 ringtones and a calender for appointments as well as many other features, some of which you may never need to use.
Overall, this is a well equipped compact phone with no aerial, suitable for most people, though I would not recommend it to first time mobile buyers. ...

Advantages: Nice Size, Light, WAP Functions Disadvantages: Some Functions take some getting used to
I came late to the world of mobile phones - I always felt contract phones were too expensive for the limited use I would have for them, and it was only when I got a free phone from a credit card company that I found their uses.
That phone was a basic SAGEM phone, which I replaced just over a year ago with the WAP enabled SiemensM35i
I must admit I havent used the phones full functionality, even now - the WAP system takes a little getting used to, and without free WAP minutes from the service provider, puts you off exploring and understanding WAP.
In any event, the small screen means that very few pages can easily be read.
The Texting system, unless you are used to it can be very confusing and annoying - it uses the auto text function and therefore guesses at the words you want to type. Being an old fuddy duddy (in the fast ...
