The Siemens S35i is a truly excellent phone, and has everything that you could need and more. If anything WAP is the weak link, not in terms that the phone's WAP performance is disappointing, but in terms that WAP is a poor service in comparison with a lot of offerings on mobiles. At the mobile some operators do comparable SMS based services, something which I have discovered from experimenting with my S35i. I find that WAP is almost superfluous as a feature, as it is not a great deal cheaper than calling if you are certain tariffs, and it doesn't really do the phones justice. GPRS will change this but until then I will not be using WAP other than in a dire emergency. Whilst the S35i does not have as large a screen as the Nokia, but still allows seven lines of text. The main problem is the fiddly input - it takes four pushes of the hash key to get an at sign for example... If you are looking for a phone purely for its WAP capabilities, do not bother. However the S35i is a truly excellent phone, well worth considering, although not as a WAP phone in its own right.

Advantages: v.small and light and extremely easy to use Disadvantages: difficult to read screen because text is too small. Buttons are too small and fiddly.
