THE LOOK
This phone is, I think very attractive, its mainly grey but the buttons and the battery cover are silver. On the left side of the phone is a chrome button for call volume, on the right hand side is a voice memo button (also chrome) and the charger point is on the bottom. It's a good size, not too big but not so small that you are scared of losing or breaking it, it's just under four inches from top to bottom, not much bigger than the palm of my hand and only weighs 85g. The buttons are a good size too so you wont be hitting the wrong ones all the time. There is a directional pad, this has 4 arrows up, down, left and right, this allows you so move around the screen easily.
This phone is also very strong I have dropped it several times on nights out and it still works perfectly and has no visible damage.
FUNCTIONS Camera, PC Connection, Loud Speaker, Tri-Band, Bluetooth, Infa Red, Poly Ringtones, Java games, GPRS, MMS, Voice Memos, and more.
CAMERA The camera is an attachment, which fits into the bottom of the handset and should come with the phone, so no extra cost. But the down side is the camera has no flash, so you are limited as to where you can take clear pictures and you obviously have to remember to take the attachment with you. The photo quality is not great on the phone; the pictures tend to look better on the computer.
PC CONNECTION Also with this phone you get software and a cable to connect it to a PC, this software is very good and means you can transfer photos to the computer and down load ring tones and such like very easily.
LOUD SPEAKER The loud speaker on this phone is excellent you can turn this feature on during a call and be heard from a good meter or so away.
TRI-BAND Works well abroad, I have been to Cyprus and Spain with this phone as it works perfectly.
BLUETOOTH & INFA RED The Bluetooth I have only used to scan the room to see who has their bluetooth switched on, which worked. The infa red I have used on many occasions to swap photos from phone to phone rather than MMS-ing them this works well but as mentioned before photo quality is not great on this phone
BATTERY The battery is long lasting, but I do not use my phone much, I charge it once a week, twice if I have used it a lot.
RECEPTION QUALITY The reception on this phone is very good, there is no distortion and I can always be heard clearly, the signal is almost always at its highest.
THE VERDICT
A very good phone, the only issue I have with it is the quality of the coloured screen as I do take a lot of photos with this phone, but other than that I am very pleased. You can get this phone on Ebay now for about £30 with the camera and the PC cable so it's a bargain.
This is not the most high tech phone and has been around for a few years now so if you like your technology don't buy this phone, but if you want something that is a reasonable price, looks very good and has a good amount of features then I would most definitely recommend it.
