...I previously owned a smaller 6kg tub Siemens machine but sold it a couple of years ago to get a secondhand Dyson. This was great as it had a very large drum. However I had a bad feeling that the bearings may give up in the next year which would mean ££ callout. I had got used to the very big capacity of the Dyson so didn't want to go back to a small drum machine. This machine is rated as 8kg! That is actually 1kg more than the Dyson. So, I have spent the last 4 weeks trawling through specs and going into the shops to research the machines currently available! This review may save you the effort of doing the same! Advantages: Plenty of space, strong durable fridge
Disadvantages: Freezer compartment could be bigger

...I have owned the Siemens KG34NX90GB fridge freezer for 1 year and so far I have had no problems. I purchased it from John Lewis and it came with a 5 year guarantee and helped with my decision. The fridge/freezer is stainless steel and feels very strong but can be a problem to keep clean. You are provided a cleaning solution The fridge freezer is Dimensions: 185 H x 60 W x 65 D cm - Fridge section gross capacity: 192L/6.8cu.ft and Freezer section gross capacity: 88L/3.1cu.ft. The temperature controls for both the fridge and freezer are both located in the upeer fridge section. They are easy to work with simple controls and buttons. Advantages: cleans even greasy dishes, makes stuff super dry
Disadvantages: plates piping hot when cycle finished, not really big enough for 8

...Left for us, ok well we had to give them £350 for it, by our old housemates whom inhabited our lovely little terranced house last year. This like brand new siemens dishwasher has been a pleasure to use and a total life saver. We have 8 people living in our house and 5 are international students, so we have a vast range of cultery, chopsticks, woks, pans, huge plates, weird shaped bowls, tea pourers and all sorts. Really the range is massive. And also with that comes a mixture of dishes that are cooked which means the washing up soon mounts and also the type of dirt produced from making such dishes is incrediably diverse too. Much of which tends to be greasy american food, or hard baked on oriental dishes. But this makes reviewing our dishwasher fun, and also quite useful as I can comment on how good it is over tackling a broad spectrum... Read review
