I primarily got the Siemens because of the £525 cost (pricematched by John Lewis to Comet) and 5 year parts /labour warranty. This equates to just over £100 per year and I seriously doubt it will conk out after 5 years either.
There is a model with 1600 spin WM16s383 but don't think it justifies the higher cost for 200 extra rpm. Also its more wear and tear on the bearings. ...

of the S25 & other Siemens phones is that it has two phone books, one normal phone book and a red phone book for specially selected people in your phones memory. The point of this? Well you can select different ring tones for each phone book to let you know how important the call is and whether to answer it.
The handset also has WAP version 1.0 built in, sadly this isn't supported in the UK as all the new phones use version 1.1, no great loss though as I have been very disappointed with WAP in general (its basically teletext on your phone). The modem can still be used to get Internet access via a PDA (a rich mans personal organiser) via an infra red link or a cable bought separately.
The S25 was clearly way ahead of its time and is still one of the best mobile phones around. It represents excellent value for money. How much I hear ...
