    I bought this lens as my focal range was limited to 18mm at the widest end, and had always wanted a good quality super wide angle lens without the rediculous distortion you get from cheap bolt on imports. I opted for the Sigma 10 - 20mm f/4 - 5.6 EX DC HSM and am very happy with my choice. The first thing I noticed was it is heavier than I expected. This super wide lens had great build quality, with Sigma's top glass and Hyper Sonic Motor. The image quality is very good, but with some distortion when pushed to 11 / 10mm. The lens also loses some quality at the extreme aperture, but not enough ... more
