    Advantages Advantages Range. Price. Decent quality.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages More humble features than EX Sigmas. Rotating filter mount.

    I basing my review of this NON APO version of this lens used in conjunction with a NIKON APS-C mount cropped sensor DSLR camera.mount kindly loaned to me by a friend. I have owned and used the slightly more expensive APO version, have reviewed this previously. This is not a 'EX' (Excellence) designated lens and because of this, finish is not quite to the same high standard as those so marked. It does still however, have a fairly similar black, crinkly finish, which still very nice. Overall build quality is both pleasing and of good substantial quality.
