I would say there are six websites that I could not live without. I would not say that it is a mixed bag of sites - it is either money making related or media related. One of these media related websites is the official website of my greatest inspiration in life. She is such a wonderful person, and a perfect role model. Who is this woman? Of course, it's Andrea McLean!
If you for some reason do not know who Andrea McLean is, then I am a tiny bit offended! She was a long running weather girl for GMTV, only to give up that post a few months back. She is now the main anchor of ITV daytime chat show phenomenon Loose Women, a job I would kill for. She is one of the most amazing TV Presenters around, and has such a wonderful personality. The day I met her was one of the most amazing days of my life, a moment I will treasure forever. She ...
I still live with my parents and this is the TV magazine that they buy. I don't see the point in buying another TV magazine just for me. I read this magazine more than I actually watch the television. Due to exams, drama, sign language and ciao I don't watch very much television. However, every now and then I do sit down and watch an episode of Eastenders or Coronation Street, with my mam. I don't need to watch every episode to know what is going on. Apart from the fact that usually nothing much is happening, I can read the TV quick to catch up.
TV Quick come out weekly and costs 70p. We get it delivered from our local newsagents with our newspaper. We usually get it on the Tuesday, before the TV listings in the magazine starts. I say magazine because it is more than just a TV listing.

Ciao members have rated this review on average: very helpful Review of TV Quick
Advantages: DivX, price, small and light Disadvantages: USB 1.1 only, front display controls too small
One day last month I found our 3 month old DVD player no longer worked (back to the shop for you - if I can find the receipt). It was a really nice (though cheap) DivX DVD player. It had a USB interface so I could watch DivX files from our computer via a flash memory drive - a really cool feature. So I was gutted that the machine didn't recognise any discs put into it.
* Time for a new DVD Player *
The next evening was spent browsing around some sites on the Internet. I found some very good reviews about the Sigmatek XS-700 PRO player. I've never heard of a company called Sigmatek and I thought they were one of a long list of new Chinese companies that have sprouted up from nowhere recently (it appears they are French actually). But the reviews and prices were very enticing so I took out my credit card and bought one from PIXmania ...
