Well I finally managed to get my hands on the brand new NintendoWii console (not meaning to brag) and after weeks of solid gaming I thought it was about time I told the online world my opinions of it.
For anybody that has been locked away from society over christmas the Wii is Nintendo's brand new home console machine. It was this christmas's must have gadget due to its new wireless motion sensetive controllers and fun, party orientated game play. All I will say about the Wii in general is that it one of the most inovative and enjoyable pieces of technology that has been released in recent years. It will revolutionise the gaming world and this is just the beginning.

I think that the NintendoWii is one of the better consoles on the market for the family as they are lots of competitive games available on it to interest all the family, including Wii Sports, Wii Fit, Wario Wares and Mario Party just to name a few.
The Wii Fit is an interactive console that stimulates gameplay by using movement instead of just button bashing, the graphics arent always as good on the Wii as they are on the Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 but I as a bit of an old school gamer think that this is one of the charms that the Wii holds in its simplicity.
You play Wii games with your Wiiremote that is senitive to movement as long as you have the receiver near by to receive the signal from the remote, this normally sits discretley on top of the TV that you are playing Wii on.

Advantages: Good value for money, a fair variation of games for different ages, small and compact, easily fit Disadvantages: not a huge variety of games for people to play on their own, most of the sports games are the same
Enjoyable time spent on the WII
I brought a nintendowii for the family for christmas along with the wii fit, wii sport, and various other games.
I found that even though this cost a lot of money it was terriblly good value. with the wii console came a two remotes, two nunchuks, three games, wii fit bored a stand for the console, covers for the wiiremotes and a remote charger. I found that the family has spent more time together since purchasing the wii, this i feel is due to the fact that you can purchase several remotes so that the family can play together, also their are games to suit everyone of all ages.
However i did find that people do get over excited when playing on th wii and that all ornaments need to be kept out of th way and that when boxing people need to keep away from the tv. ...
