I tend to use a cleansing lotion each morning and evening for my face, using a face wash just occasionally as I find this is better for my skin. In Waitrose a few months ago they were offering Simple cleansing lotion with a toner for £3 (the normal price for just the cleanser!) so I thought I would try them. The cleansing lotion I thought I would try the simple range as they have few chemicals to be kinder to sensitive skin. At around £3.50 a bottle it is not overly expensive and they have a large range of products to choose from. The simple range is available from most stores including supermarkets, boots and Superdrug. They are often on promotion I brought mine as part of a 3 for £5 offer. When it comes to cleansing lotion for my face I usually buy Tesco own brand, it is one I have used for a while now and it has always suited my skin, however I recently went to purchase another bottle to find that they had run out. After overlooking it for years I’ve recently become quite fond of the Simple range after trying out a few of their products, so when I was in my local Boots in need of a new cleansing lotion I opted for Simple’s Purifying Cleansing Lotion. This costs £3.25 for a 200ml bottle which I believe to be very reasonable for a cleanser. I always use a wash-off cleanser in the morning in the shower but sometimes in the evening before bed I prefer to use a cleansing lotion which you simply wipe across your face with cotton wool.
