I had never heard of Singstar before my friends new years eve party this year. But it is the best invention for having lots of fun with a big group of people and breaking the ice.
About the Product
Sing Star is a game for Play Station 2 (PS2). In a nutshell its a selection of songs from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s which any number of players from 2 up can enjoy trying to sing, and by actually singing in tune, according to the computer which scans the microphones for right notes, you get points. The system comes complete with 2 microphones for £29.99, make sure you check this when you make your purchase as PS2 also sell the package without microphones for £14.99 You put the game into your Ps2 and up on screen comes a selection of songs for you to choose from. There are 30 tracks in total. As each song plays it shows instructions on screen as to who should be singing at the time. For example it will say 'All girls' or 'All boys. Also the words of the song appear on the screen in exactly the same way that they do in Karaokee so you know what to sing along.

I think we started playing the singstar at about 8pm and most of us were still going right up until the pips went at midnight.
Suitable for
A group of adults at a party, children at a kids party, old people in an old folks home! Whoever, anyone can enjoy and join in this fun game.
