This is another botanics item I have recently tried, and another one I bought with a free skincare voucher. Originally I was looking for the Blanacing Shine-Control Cream but my local boots doesnt appear to stock it. So I picked this one instead.
It comes in the standard transparent plastic tube (in this case, 75ml) with a clear flip-top lid. I have used quite a few other botanics products and I have never had a problem with the lids, but theres a first time for everything. The lid is held onto the screwtop part by two plastic flexable "tabs". Unfortunatly, one of these has torn, leaving a sharp bit of plastic pokingout from the back of the lid. I'm fairley sure that the other one will go sooner rather than later.
The lotion itself isnt all that thin. Its probably halfway between a "cream" and a "lotion". A little goes a long way ...
Advantages: Plenty to see, a relaxing escape from the city. Disadvantages: Expensive for a one-off visit. Disappointing restaurant.

Picture Birmingham and what do you see? The Bullring, New Street Station and Spaghetti Junction would be the first things that come to my mind. Although I've never lived in Birmingham itself, I worked there for several years. A Brief History

Advantages: It does what it says it will. I'll trade in any man but Colin Firth for a tube of this any day! Disadvantages: Can be a bit too shiny alone on the face
As a fan of anything boasting that natural feel and promising me I'll use it and look like a fresh faced beauty, like a lamb to the slaughter I found myself once again in the queue in Boots waving my advantage card around like a loon. I'm a fan of Boot's own products such as Time Delay and recently have found myself drawn to the Botanics range. After purchasing all of the Time Delay products I'm interested in I've started to make a collection of Botanics goodies!
Boots Botanics Radiance Beauty Balm with it's power of plants and apple extract says it is a silky moisturising serum that contains diffusing pearls to add instant radiance to my complexion. That the apple extract is a rich source of anti-oxidant which helps to protect against damaging free radicals. I still yearn to learn what the heck a free radical is! Don't you just hate ...
Formulations for all skin types (cream, gel and lotion), smoother skin that feels toned after a couple of applications, matching serum top-up for extra dry skin, one jar lasts for ages and smells fresh, clean and gorgeous.
Prohibitively expensive for a straight-up, non anti-ageing facial moisturiser. Lightly perfumed and non-hypoallergenic - unsuitable for sensitive skin. (*)
