Born to save her sister's life

Advantages: Brilliant cast, very moving and emotional story
Disadvantages: The different ending to the book was very disappointing

Eleven year old Anna Fitzgerald has lived her entire life helping her sister, Kate, who has leukaemia. Being conceived to act as a donor for her sister, Anna has been undergoing medical procedures since the very day she was born. But she now seeks out the help of lawyer, Campbell Alexander, in a bid to sue her parents for medical emancipation and for the rights to her own body, and in the process causing a huge rift in her family and possibly the death of her sister. ~ Cast ~ Anna Fitzgerald - Abigail Breslin Kate Fitzgerald - Sofia Vassilieva Sara Fitzgerald - Cameron Diaz Brian Fitzgerald - Jason Patric Jesse Fitzgerald - Evan Ellingson Campbell Alexander - Alec Baldwin This was the first book of Jodi Picoult's I read and it was one that I completely fell in love with. Sister Sister

I suppose this review; will take me back to the days when I was totally hooked on the children's channel nickelodeon. Gosh they really don't make TV programmes like they did back in the 1990's. One of my favourite programmes which aired on Nickelodeon was called Sister, Sister. I actually grew up watching this programme, and although you may think straight way it's a girl's programme, I strongly disagree. It was more a programme for anyone aged between 6 to 19, of any race and any gender. They dealt with topics that any teenager could relate to on a level everyone could understand; it was a shame that they finally ended it. But here's a review about the show itself, the characters, and some of the storylines they dealt with. Hopefully this will bring back some old memories for some people. Brief Introduction of Nickelodeon: Well ...

Review of Sister Sister

King's epic draws to a close......

Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: Nothing for me, whatsoever, absolutely nothing

?Will ya come farther with me?? asks Stephen King, posing the question at the end of each of the first 6 volumes of his epic ?The Dark Tower? saga. At the last time of offering, though, I was torn. I didn?t want to embark on the 7th and final volume - it signified the beginning of the end?. Let me first point out that, although you may enjoy it in places, it is nigh on impossible to read the 7th book without reading the first 6 and still understand what is going on. Really, it is highly advisable to read the other 6 in order, first, and to take your time doing so. I was introduced to ?The Dark Tower early in 2004, shortly after the birth of my son. I had always been reluctant to read Stephen King, as I wasn?t a fan of horror novels. I was assured by the person who was kind enough to lend (and subsequently give) me the first volume ...
