    I've been wanting a pair of Skechers shape ups for a long time, but could never really justify the £70 price tag to myself. However, when I last cashed out from Dooyoo, I decided I would put the money towards a pair as a bit of a treat. There are a range of different styles in the 'Shape Ups' range. However, knowing that I intended to wear them at work, my choice was pretty much limited to buying something in black.     One purchase that I generally spend more than my usual amount of time researching and mulling over is shoes, for two very important reasons: I have bad knees, and I walk a LOT (it's my favourite de-stress method, and if I can avoid other modes of transport, I'll walk the distance, even if it takes me a few hours). So at least where everyday shoes are concerned, quality is extremely important to me, as cheap shoes tend to fall apart on my feet rather quickly and leave me in a considerable amount of pain.     I had seen the ads on the TV on two types of sports shoes that helped you stay toned whilst wearing them. I did the usual web based research, and found that the Skechers White / Silver Metabolize were the ones for me. I work on my feet all day as a care assistant and don't really get much time to exercise so thought these type of sports shoe would be ideal. I've had them now for two weeks, and have noticed such an improvement in general well being, I find it hard to believe myself.     Isn't this what everybody wants? A way to lose weight and improve your health by doing stuff you are a already doing? That is certainly the reason I purchased my pair for a steep £85 online. Skechers are apparently a way to boost your metabolism, improve posture, promote weight loss, reduce stress on ankle and in particular knee joints, strengthen your back and tone calfs, thighs and buttocks.
