A friend recommeded Dr Hauschka to me and initially I was put off by the price of the products. However, having suffered from acne for years, I purchased one of their trial kits and have been hooked ever since.
The Normalizing Day Oil is in fact for people who suffer from acne or have oilyskin. Now I realise that people with oilyskin dont want to put oil on their face but, trust me you have to try this. I suffer badly from shiny skin and was always powdering my face but since using this product, I find even after a long day at work, my face isnt too shiny and my make up still seems to be in place.

However, being specifically made for oilyskin, it does have a really strong drying affect, and therefore should not be used by people with even normal or combinationskin types. It should be strictly for people with oily to very oilyskin.
Even though the clarifying lotion does leave the skin extra clean, and the complexion looks extra smooth, it does sting the skin sometimes, especially the first time it is used.
It stings even more if your skin is suffering from dryness, so that is another reason that it is best left for people with exceptionally oilyskin, because it is only comfortable to use at that level.
I think that the Clinique Clarifying Lotion for oilyskin does work quite well, and does just what is said, but the formula is too strong for mildly oily ...
