I came across this product early part of last year (2006) whilst researching on some beauty products. By this process, it helps reduce fine lines, wrinkles, blackheads, blemishes, uneven skin tone and sun damage.
I came across this product early part of last year (2006) whilst researching on some beauty products. I have always been skeptical about trying new products especially on my face as I am very sensitive. I read many reviews about the product but still was quite hesitant to spend £50 (approx) for the system. But I finally made the choice of purchasing it online more out of curiosity than anything else.
The box consists of: 2x sponge pads called micro-orbit heads which fit onto the accelerator unit 1x accelerator unit 1x tub of 24 hour resurfacing cream 1x tub of Intensive Micro-dermabrasion crystals.
Every time I have tried new products I always see a difference having used them for a few weeks, but with this system I saw an immediate effect. My skin felt smoother and much brighter. Over the weeks using it 1-2 times a week as stated, I noticed my blackheads reducing and my skin looking fresh. I found my foundation easier to apply and there are many days where I don’t feel like I need any foundation on at all. It took me a while to get used to the small vibrations from the accelerator unit. This is a hand held device that is battery operated. It creates small vibrations which help with the circulation of blood flow and is part of the deep exfoliating process. The first time I used it, it felt like I was using light graded sandpaper on my face – a slight scratching effect. It doesn’t hurt but the feeling takes some time to get used to.
This is a 2-step process with very easy to follow instructions.
Step 1: Once the face has been cleansed thoroughly, apply (dot) the crystals on random areas of the face. Attach the sponge head to the accelerator unit, gently massage the crystals using circular motion for up to 5minutes on each area. Step 2: Dust the crystal particles from the face or body area with a dry cloth or towel and wash. Pat dry and apply the moisturiser (24-hour resurfacing cream)
The intensive moisturiser is very pleasant to use and smells good enough to eat. It has a very smooth texture and easy to apply. After each time, the micro-orbit heads need to be thoroughly washed. In many of the reviews I had read, it did state the skin would become more sensitive to the sunlight and advised on using a high quality moisturiser but since using the product I have not been affected but I still make sure I have got my sun protector on when out in the sun.
