I saw this product advertised, so I looked it up on line and thought this is for me.
Ever since the birth of my second child, I've had an unsightly vein/bruising on my leg, which to be honest has always embarrassed me, especially when wearing a skirt, or swimming outfit on Holiday, I asked the doctor, what could be done, and he started talking about operations etc, but I really didn't fancy the idea of that, as I'm a bit of a wimp. But now this product has come along, and already life is feeling and looking so much better.
It really does as it says, first of all, I didn't even know what I've got is called a Spider vein, Basically a large looking bruise with dark blue small thin lines coming from it.
It's a lengthy process so do not expect over night miraculous , but after a few days application you will start to see a difference, and boy what a confidence booster that is, I feel so much better about my appearance now, and looking forward to this years holiday in anticipation instead of dread.
How it works:- Vein Away works in two stages; 1. First the active natural ingredients in Vein Away penetrate through the epidermal layers of the skin reaching the ruptured wall of the capillary and assists in the coagulation and mending of the wall. 2. Then the traditional natural oils in Vein Away help maintain the elasticity and health of the vein as well as disperse the dried blood on surrounding capillaries.
Application:- Apply the cream morning and night. Make sure your skin has been pre-moistened with warm water to open up the pores of your skin for maximum absorption. The ideal time to apply Vein Away would be after a shower or bath. Lightly massage the cream into the skin for best results. Remember to apply the cream consistently and liberally for the desired results. Once your spider veins disappear continue using to prevent spider veins from resurfacing.
Working time span:- Because every person has their own unique physiology, results may vary. Differences in the severity of the spider vein problem, skin thickness, pH balance/skin type have an effect of how quickly Vein Away reduces your spider veins and not all results are the same. But for most people applying Vein Away twice a day may produce the desired results in six to eight weeks. The most important thing recommended is to persevere.
Active ingredients:- Phytonadione is also know as phylloquinone or Vitamin K1 and naturally occurs in green leafy vegetables. Vitamin K is essential in the synthesis of at least six of 13 proteins needed for coagulation. That's why Vitamin K is known as the blood-clotting vitamin. Phytonadione eliminates the appearance of spider veins by repairing the damaged capillary, stopping the leaking capillary by clogging up the hole. Once the vein is healed, the dried blood on the outside of the capillaries, (which is what you see through the skin as a spider vein), dissolves thus eliminating the spider vein. Aloe Vera Gel - extracted from the leaf of the aloe plant. Aloe Vera penetrates deep into many layers of the skin, delivering nutrients and moisture to newly formed skin cells, which helps prevent the loss of collagen and elastin in the skin. Aloe Vera helps rebalance the pH level in the skin acting as a gentle astringent, firming and toning, as well as protecting the skin against blemishes. It does this by dissolving dry dead surface cells that clog and dull your complexion. Aloe Vera also acts as a moisturiser in two ways. Firstly it creates a barrier that prevents moisture loss. Secondly by carrying nutrients and moisture through the many layers of the skin down to the dermis, stimulating fibroblasts, the cells responsible for the manufacture of collagen. Vitamin C - this fat-soluble version of vitamin C when topically applied penetrates the skin very rapidly and amplifies the affect of bioflavonoids. Renowned for enhancing collagen production it also has tremendous antioxidant benefits, which protect the skin against damaging free radicals. This makes the skin appear plumper and thicker, lessening the appearance of spider veins. Allantoin - used in all skin soothing cosmetics because of its ability to heal wounds and skin ulcers and to stimulate growth of healthy tissue. Lavender - the most widely used essential oil, lavender has skin soothing and healing properties.
Consumer advice Health/safety. There are no common side effects but it's wise to test Vein Away in a small area of your skin and wait 24 hours before beginning treatment just in case of an allergic reaction. Vein Away should not be used if you are on blood thinners such as warfarin or aspirin. Vein Away should not be applied to mucous membrane or broken skin. - Avoid contact with eyes - Avoid ingestion - For external use only.
Costs vary slightly:- Between £16-£20.
Comes In 100ml jar, but you may need more than one.

Advantages: Non invasive, relatively inexpensive, can be successful for some people Disadvantages: Time consuming & treatment is lengthy and ongoing
...and found this product by Skin Doctors. The reviews seemed quite good so I thought that I would give it a whirl. You really do have to perservere with this product every day to get any result at all. The product needs to be applied to warmly moistened skin, and so is best applied after a bath or shower. The cream itself has a nice moist consistency and massages well into the skin leaving little residue. There is no sensation after application as ... ...below the surface of the skin are meant to fade away and disappear.
I followed this practice for four months, but had very little improvement in the visual improvement of the veins themselves. For me, the product did not perform. Some people do experience better results from the cream, but many people choose to resort to treatments such as laser and sclerotherapy which can provide much faster results. ...

Advantages: None Disadvantages: Ineffective, Requires long term application, leaves skin slimy
Having like so many others I bought this product after reading its fantastic claims and somewhat mixed reviews and all I can say is IT DONT WORK!!. Now let me tell you why, I have a small red mark on face (telangiectasis) and got this to help with it. I used it for 8 months (following the instructions) and after all the time it made absolutely no difference. So if you’re considering purchasing this take the manufactures claims with a pinch ... ...positive thing that can be said about it is that it you can use it as a moisturiser (although I found it somewhat slimy). As a final note: after further research it seems that there is no cream or product that has been proven to effectively remove unsightly veins etc.. and the only effective methods are laser surgery and the likes. ...
