Skoda Fabia 1.4 TDi Hatchback

In my the long line of hire cars I have had to endure for work the latest was a diesel Skoda Fabia hatchback. It has the 1.4 TDi engine that has become almost ubiquitous in small diesels so it pulls away fairly well and the road holding is pretty good. The biggest failings are the disturbing levels of engine noise inside the car and the incredibly basic level of equipment. After having the misfortune of 'a. n. other' vehicle - see my other reviews! I am now the proud owner of this car. The Skoda Fabia Ambiente 1.4 TDI 5dr Hatchback, in Cappucino. I will be honest and say that until last year I wouldn't have looked at a Skoda if you had paid me millions - well, maybe not millions, but I think you know what I mean! Just about a couple of days ago I happened to stumble across a Skoda automobile showroom when out of the blue I saw the car I was always inquisitive to know about. One section of people were raving about the car and another section of the people did not even want to know about it after looking at the price of this hatch. But once i decided to try the car out , nothing could stop me from doing so. Skoda Fabia is a nice small car, mostly suited for small family or professionals for everyday commuting. Its comparatively affordable in it's segment and has some feel good factors like high driver cabin which gives a clear view ahead and good size boot. It's not everything good about this car. Certainly few things are vary inconvenient about this, no proper hand supports for driver and passengers, rear seat leg room is very less, engine heats up in town areas means problems with cooling system are very common with this model, not for long journey on motorways but good for town commuting.
