Have I written enough words yet ?? 120 words is a lot to write about such a small vehicle - but it is an affordable smasher - very nippy ! I'm a fan. You don't see many of them on the roads.
Advantages: Solidly built, cheap, reliable, very practical and a lot of fun to drive Disadvantages: A little underpowered but this problem can be solved by buying the 1.6 version
Let's get the issue of the Skoda jokes out of the way first. Skoda have never actually made a bad car during the life of the company, and they're one of the most respected heavy engineering organisations in the business.
For instance, who did the majority of the heavy engineering for the London Eye ? Yep, it was Skoda.
Let's also not get confused about the van plus being a model distinct from others in the Skoda range. It is in fact nothing more than a Feliciapick-up (itself based heavily on the Felicia estate floor pan), with a fibreglass van body bolted over the load area. A pair of back doors straight from the VW cube van assembly line completes the picture.
I had one specific task in mind when I bought the van since I play drums in a rock band and was sick of the problems caused by carting my full kit around in the car ...
