Advantages Space and equipment
Disadvantages No alarm as standard
I bought my used Octavia Elegance Estate so that we could easily get a large do from one place to another - he is simply too ig for our old Vauxhall Astra hatchback. Having looked at the Subaru Impreza turbo but been put off by the running costs it was suggested that we tried the Skoda.
I have to say that I have never looked back, for such a large car is really does go very well. And for those with performance in mind, it can be easily tweaked to 220bhp - a figure that means it is faster than the Octavia VRS and faster than many of the boy racer cars. The equipment level as standard is very good, the only problem is the lack of a standard alarm (though there are blinking lights to make it look like there is one)
Given my cars 70,000 miles it is amazingly rattle free, it feels nice and tight almost like the day it came from the factory.
