Skullcandy INK'D Earbuds

~~~~~~~~~~~Boom! Boom! Boom! ~~~~~~~~~~~
As you may have noticed by looking at previous reviews, I do like my headphones in all shapes sizes and more recently colours. Skull candy have always been a reputable brand in my books – and what they offer is aesthetics at a price that any normal person can afford whether young or old (granted they may not suit your grandparents however I am not the one to suggest that!)
I have had the Skullcandy INK'D Earbuds for quite some time now, and I have had, as of yet, no problems they have worked well and efficiently. The colour hasn’t faded or become tarnished in any way which of course is important when you buy a product for the aesthetics which admittedly I did!
~~~~~~~~~~~Positives: ~~~~~~~~~~~

* The price; at £15 (from amazon) these headphones are a little bargain – they are a great fashion accessory and play your music at a reasonable volume well (the sound quality is something I will comment on shortly)

* The aesthetics: small and mighty – and no I am not hinting that you should put these in the washing machine but they do look pretty darn cool. The colours are unique vibrant and portray a real statement, which I personally like

* The reliability is impressive!

~~~~~~~~~~~Negatives~~~~~~~~~~~
* The only negative I can think of is the sound quality and the lack of depth. I only say this because I have previously bought and still own a pair of Beat by Dre (as many know these are regarded as excellent headphones because of their sound quality and sheer performance) therefore I am probably being a bit harsh but I would suggest that by spending just that little bit more, in the regions of around 25-35 pounds you can get more ‘meat for your money’
~~~~~~~~~~~Overall~~~~~~~~~~~

Quite simply they do what they say on the tin, they are INK’D meaning they look great but they don’t perform as well as rival headphones. It is down to the consumer whether you want to buy headphones for the sound quality of the aesthetics – a tricky decision to make!
