More than just a filler, but not quite a killer.
Advantages: Good music.
Disadvantages: If you have Sky then you probably have a better music channel (M2)
I did not think it was very fair that Sky One’s Long Play program was sitting here all alone with no reviews… but, I suppose, it reflects the status of Long Play in the sense that people tend to ignore it.
When Sky One has finished showing programs for the day it plugs that gap between Dusk and Dawn with Long Play and I suppose that means Long Play is just a filler… but, really, Long Play is better than that. For a start, Long Play tends to play ...

Also, I like the way Long Play puts collections of titles together; grouped by Artist (under; best of) is the most obvious one and if you like the artist then you’ll find yourself watching a an hour or so of Sky One.
