Advantages Able to view films at your leisure in the comfort of your own home.
Disadvantages No longer good value for money
A couple of years ago we decided to subscribe to Sky movies as a Christmas present to ourselves as a family. Reason being money was tight couldn't afford to buy new releases, go to the cinema or even hire them. It was great, we could watch films whenever we wanted, we loved it so much that we decided to keep the subscription going.
Just lately though we are considering unsubscribing due to that fact that there is very little variety now, there isn't much variation in the times they are shown either. We have small children so we have to wait until they're in bed to watch films rated above PG. The only trouble is they all seem to be on at inconvenient times. Also you watch that week's top film at 8pm, and that is the only film shown throughout the week at that time. Not only that but after that film has been knocked off the top spot for that, it is then repeated across all the other movie channel, so it is now longer good value for money. .
We have found this across the board though all of the channels are very samey samey in my opinion. We absolutely love Comedycentral and is the only reason we are going to keep sky, I have yet to look into free view, but if we can get that channel on free view we're off!!!Detailed Rating
