    Advantages Advantages Good level of magnification for the price. An ideal first telescope which won't become obsolete.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Can be awkward to store in a smaller house.

    As a keen follower of shows such as The Sky at Night with the legendary Sir Patrick Moore, I’ve always had a keen interest in astronomy. To this end, my wife bought me a telescope for Christmas a couple of years ago, and the model she decided to buy me was the Sky-Watcher Explorer 130P. Now I had a small telescope when I was a kid, and found it slightly difficult to use, with only a small magnification factor and so I didn’t really know what to expect from my new present.
