If youve got Sky Digital you should have Sky Talk. Thats it. Even if you havent got Sky Digital you should still consider it just for the call savings- thats how good it is!
OK so your monthly phone bill with BT is £100. We'll assume that thats all calls and forget about line rental (you dont get discount on that). So you save 40%, leaving you with £60 per month. Out of that take your Sky Digital subscription (I think it starts at £13) and your left with £47 saving per month! You have to pay £40 to install Sky Digital but that still means that youve saved £7 in your first month!
It takes about 2 secs longer to connect when your phoning someone and yes it does need 140 at the start, but if youve got a phone with memory just change all the numbers to have it at the start, then you still only need 1 button.
Save on your 'free' ISP- 'only' 1p per minute (BT local call) becomes 0.6p- thats how it works, even mobiles.
Even if you never watch Sky youll still have saved money!
You cant lose!
Customer services are average at best though..
