It is good to find a site that doesn’t just seem to have a “house style “ as you never ... ...be sent on the day that I chose. Perfect for me – I will no longer be the family member who always ends up sending belated birthday cards – yippee !

I have recently joined the Skyblue Cards website and I am really pleased with it. The cards are really well designed and there is a good variety of styles so I can always find something for everyone. Above all the cards are artistic and just that wee bit different. The site is run by four Scottish artists and you can certainly see that artistic influence. It is good to find a site that doesn’t just seem to have a “house style “ as you never know what they will come up with next. There are cards for all occasions and they do animated and still cards. I have had positive feedback from the friends and family that I’ve sent the cards to. In really liked their party invite card with lots of funky cartoon animals on a train and sent this as an invite for a kids party – all the kids and their parents loved it. The site is easy to navigate round and it is free of adverts and pop-ups. It costs £5 for a year’s membership and that is great value as you can send as many cards as you like to as many people as you like. I know there are free sites but I have used some of them and there is usually a catch to the free deal – eg they use or sell on your details so you get spam and unwanted mailings. No such problem with Skyblue. I also want my friends and family to know that I have really chosen cards carefully for them and taken the time to do this. A real bonus is the Birthday Reminder service – give them a note of key birthdays and they will email you in advance (from 1 to 14 days, your choice )to remind you. Also, I now use their delayed sending facility. I have picked all my cards for the next few months, personalised them and they are waiting to be sent on the day that I chose. Perfect for me – I will no longer be the family member who always ends up sending belated birthday cards – yippee ! Have a look and hopefully you will like the skyblue site as much as I do.
