The design and ease of use of this phone makes it a very good purchase and a very nice phone to be using at the desk at home or at work.

Appearance - This particular generation of the cyberphone cannot be mounted against a wall or the side of a desk as the phone will fall off its hook unlike the original version. The light blue style of the phone makes it very stylish and fits in with most other devices, the blue LED on the back flashes when skype has an incoming call or voicemail but also serves as a button to check for voicemails and listen to them once the phone is removed from the hook. The handset features a button in the center which can be easily pressed to put your current call on hold.

Features - Every button needed to make, take, divert and manage calls and voicemails is on the handset. The simplest and yet most effective feature of the handset is the lift to answer function and put down to end, there is no physical catch to answer or end the calls (although there is the green and red phone button) as the phone appears to work with some sort of magnet/sensor function to detect if the handset is in place. Another usefull feature is the microphone mute button so you can mute your microphone whilest continuing to hear the caller.

Inputs/Outputs - On the right of the base there is a small headphone jack to insert headphones if you decide that holding the phone isnt for you.

Problems - One problem i did find is that the springy cord between the handset and the base meant that the base would sometimes move accross my desk to prevent the cord from stretching (i fixed this by sticking a piece of double sided sticky tape to the desk and placing it on it) and sometimes when in long calls i would find holding the phone to my ear an annoyance but the headphone jack was there to let me easily swtich!

Overall this is an extremely usefull product.
