Introduction
==========

When I moved out to the country I started using my car more to go to places and since I wasn't walking to work I found that I was putting on weight. I thought Slim Fast would a convenient diet since you could buy the drinks in cans

After about a week I was getting bored of just drinking the chocolate, banana and vanilla (as I am allergic to strawberry) and my local stores did not have any other flavours available. Luckily Boots.com did, I bought quite a range of flavours but this one is my favourite.

Slim-fast

The diet is that you replace two meals a day with Slim-fast meal replacements products; these include shakes (ready made or do it yourself) and meal replacement bars. Slim-fast also offer a range of snacking bars (yes you can snack on Slim-fast) and frozen evening meals.

The used to offer meal replacements with pasta meals and soups but I can no longer see these on there website, which is good because they tasted awful.

The Product
==========

This can contains 350ml of Café Mocha meal replacement shake and is well-balanced with vitamins and minerals and realises energy slowing so that you are less likely to stray from your diet.

The packaging is quite simple it has the read Slim-fast logo and the word Café Mocha and a picture of a delicious looking shake.

One can has 216 calories and has 23 vitamins and minerals. All the Slim-fast products have been nutritionally developed.

How to use
=========

This is a simple product to use, the can recommends to chill for best results and I strong agree with this.

Once chilled, give it a shake, open the ring pull located at the top of the can and either pour into a glass or drink directly from the can. I always poured mine into a glass as drinking it from the can does at tin taste to it.

Drink and enjoy.

=====

Now the most important part, the shake is brown as you might expect with it being Café Mocha flavour and you can defiantly smell the coffee and a hint of chocolate.

As the shake hits your taste buds I can taste the coffee first but then the chocolate melts in the leave a very moreish after taste. The taste is quite good, the real thing is better but this is meant to help you lose weight.

Compared with the other flavours they do Café Mocha has the best taste as the other have a funny taste that many low fat, low calorie and diet products have.

Availability
=========

Since I did this diet they have become more widely available in supermarkets and are priced around £1 per can. However I always bought mine from Boots.com as they offer bulk prices which can reduce the cost to around 70p per can, plus you can earn advantage points.

Overview
========

I know some people may not agree but I did enjoy these, they were very good for a caffeine intake prior to going to work. I tried all the shakes from the Slim-fast ready-made range (except strawberry) and this one had to be the best. It was one I could drink everyday and never get bored.

I do not drink these now but I do know people who use them as a quick on the go lunch. Personally I wouldn't drink these unless I was on the Slim-fast diet but this one has the better taste as the other have a strange savoury taste to them.

I did lose 2 stone through this diet but I did also increase my exercise as Slim-fast recommended, through my experience I found this diet very good and an excellent ready made shake.
