Slimfast soup = yumyum : )

Advantages: Taste/price/aid to weight loss
Disadvantages: None that I can think of !

Having read the other reviews on here about the Slimfast soup I felt compelled to write one - namely as the last review was sometime in 2003 ! (and judging by my Slimfast soup experience, they've improved 100%25) So, the first Slimfast soup I tried was the 'chunky vegetable' one. Priced at a extremely reasonable 1.18, I picked it up at my local Tesco and paid. -Initial reaction- Upon opening the handy sachet, I was greeted by a pleasant smell. ...

Good idea on a busy day

Advantages: Easy and tasty
Disadvantages: Not always satisfying

I think this is a useful product in a weight loss plan, but with only in particular circumstances. I did not find it a satisfying meal substitute if I had significant time to sit down and relax for lunch: in such cases I found myself wanting more, even though it is reasonably filling. However, on days where I was busy at work, and I didn't have long to break or I ate as I carried on working, I found this to be a really good product. It is quite tasty ...

Shake it on down

Advantages: Tastes like a fattening banana shake

Review of Slim Fast Ready to Drink

SLIMFAST HOT CHOCOLATE

Advantages: doesnt need milk

I have done a review on slimfast shakes, so wont go into it too much here. This is basically the tin, but you mix it with hot water instead of milk. The price is around £6.99 though it is normally harder to find and more costly than the tins of milk powder. You follow the plan as it says, but no milk with this one. A 99 Calorie caramel snack bar

Advantages: 99 calories
Disadvantages: Not great

As part of the ongoing quest to loose some weight I have been sampling the snacks made by Slimfast. Each one of the snacks has less than 100 calories making them the ideal choice if you just need to have a nibble. I get cravings for chocolate, (especially around *that* time of the month), and so I thought I would try this to see if it would indeed satisfy those cravings.
